What Have We Been Up To?

We’ve Got Parts Up To Our Ears

We’ve got parts up to our ears, and we’ve had to expand online to help get these vintage classic car and truck parts and accessories sold! Come see what’s up! We have a wide variety of parts and accessories in our shop. Recently we added a Square online store, as well as our Etsy page, HotRodTreasures. These new changes have been keeping Lynn in the office busy! She has been getting the inventory inputted, syncing with our webpage (check here!), and with our Facebook shop. In the shops, our mechanics have been busy getting these vehicles in our bays worked on. Unfortunately our hot temps sure haven’t helped much. Next week is going to be the last (hopefully) of the Read More

Things Are Chugging Right Along

We have been B-U-S-Y with restorations and repair projects, and trailer sales are still moving along as well. We’re noticing that supply chains are still a little slower than normal, but it depends on what parts and trailer sizes are on order.  Here is where we’re at on our current project vehicles: 1966 Chevrolet Impala We just started on this classic sleeping beauty! The engine was removed today after a rough start getting it into the service bay. This popular classic car will be a total frame-off restoration project. Right now we’re discussing some client decisions regarding the interior and how the client wants to go with that. The engine is back from the rebuilder Check out the new photo Read More

March 22, 2022

March 22, 2022 Update The start of 2022 came on like a rocket and we are just now able to catch up with you all! We’re going to try out a new blog feature to keep it all neat and tidy. Our service bays are overflowing with various projects, so much so that we had to get a storage facility to house the excess projects that are waiting in the wings or are waiting for parts. We brought in a new mechanic who’s a native from The Dalles and just moved back to town, which has helped relieve some of the workload from our regular mechanics.   Here is where we’re at on our current project vehicles: 1966 Chevrolet Impala Read More

1952 Dodge B3-C Pickup Truck

Big Red, as I called this 1952 Dodge B3-C pickup truck, was a truck that needed to be shown  some old fashioned TLC when he arrived at the shop in the early summer of 2020. We started with removing all of the glass, and removing body panels, fenders, hood and tailgate to get at the sections better for sanding. We noticed that the doors had a lot of small dimpling, which needed to be filled and sanded to become smooth and flush with the rest of the door. After a lot of man hours doing prep work on the body and bed, we were able to get a good couple coats of primer on it. While we were waiting on Read More

1968 Dodge DE200 Crew Cab Truck

You don’t see these vintage 1968 Dodge DE200 crew cab trucks much anymore. This restoration comes straight from the heart, as the owner’s father used to own this truck and it holds priceless sentimental value. We just started on this project, which will be needing complete body work, prime and paint . December 23rd, 2019We have applied an epoxy primer to the Dodge DE200 Crew Cab, making the surface a more durable base for when we apply the next layers in the paint transformation. June 13, 2020We’ve come a long way since December! Body has been cleaned of all rust, patched and primer was put on. We sent the truck off to The Dalles Collision Center, and Travis and crew Read More
