Women-Owned Small Business Month

October is Women-Owned Small Business month, and we would love to highlight some of our outstanding, local women-owned businesses in The Dalles. Each week, we’ll be featuring one or two women-owned small businesses on our Facebook page, Columbia Auto Repair and Sales. We will also be talking about opportunities available to minority and women entrepreneurs in our area.

We can’t cover them all (at last count we found 45 women-owned small businesses in The Dalles alone!), but we want to give awareness and recognition to these businesses who provide products and services to our communities, and who we value as neighbors and friends. We encourage everyone to shop local and support small businesses in your own communities as well. Every dollar spent locally is a dollar that stays in that community.
