    1961 Ford Galaxie Sunliner Convertible For Sale

    For sale is a 1961 Ford Galaxie Sunliner convertible, who started life in Oakville, Ontario as a Canadian market example. It runs a 352ci V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. The transmission drives a Ford 9 rear axle. Features include a replacement white convertible top and power steering. The car was refinished in red prior current owner’s purchase out of Washington state in October 2016. Additional work completed under previous ownership reportedly included refurbishment of the exterior brightwork and the red and white vinyl upholstery, as well as rebuilding the engine and transmission. The carburetor and alternator have been rebuilt under current ownership.     The Dalles High School Booster Club

    The Dalles High School Booster Club held a fundraiser earlier this month, and we had an item in their auction list, a vintage oil lubester. We restored and painted this vintage oil lubester, once used at gas stations and shops around the country, and gave it new life as a decor piece. Minor repairs were made to the body by repairing dents, adding a brand new black paint job, and a turned maple wood handle. Restoration and paint were done by Isaac Einbeck at Columbia Auto Repair and Sales, and the vinyl decals were made by Print It Sign Media out of Hood River.   This custom piece was bought…
